the days go ever on and on.

I thought this was a poem, but when I looked it up, I couldn’t find the one I was thinking of… Anyway, I am far overdue for my daily/weekly/monthly/whatever venting onto this mess of a blog. The boy has lately been encouraging me to write more and my dad has been regretting his lack of writing over the years, so here’s to forming habits that hopefully remain to me for a while.

Life has changed a lot for me in the past couple of months, and continues to change almost daily.

I got a job, part-time, as a bank teller in Vancouver and so was able to leave my job at the retirement home. I’ve been enjoying it, for the most part. Days have been slow recently and I don’t know enough to do much side work, but I’m learning a lot, it pays well, and it leaves me enough time to continue having a life at home. I still want to get more involved in the coffee scene in Vancouver and I need to find a new exercise routine and craft projects, etc. but, we’re getting somewhere…

reading:

Les Miserables (going slowly, I’m afraid..) and A Song of Ice and Fire series (better known as game of thrones).

this is all i have in me for now; i’ll try to come up with more purposeful posts later on.

love.
